A) No, we're talking about dports exclusively here.
B) The version of wireshark in Dports is 2.0.4, so why the need to build 
it from vendor sources?

In general, building from vendor sources is "at your own risk".   DPorts 
has patches and instructions for building on DragonFly which are not 
present in vendor sources.
