Console issues under VMware

Anyone else running DF under VMware?

I've been having issues (used to be occasionally, now it's on a fairly 
regular basis) where DF will stop recognising mouse and keyboard input 
on the console (including Ctrl+Alt+Esc, so getting into ddb is rather 
difficult).

Sometimes the events are queued, and I'll get a spattering of typing 
minutes later; other times, nothing.  However, it's still running fine; 
apps with remote displays are completely responsive.

I suspect that parts of my system may be out of sync, so I'm going to 
try fixing that first; but thought I'd post this to see if anyone else 
has seen similar issues.
