Problem with Atheros WLAN

Specifically:
POLA violation
Recently, pure wlan devices are no longer listed by ifconfig, but rather
requires a sysctl to be listed. If ifconfig is unsuccessful, try:
> sysctl net.wlan.devices
Maybe try that?
