I just got around to rebooting. Here's what happened when I tried to install:

# pkg ins dmalloc
Updating Avalon repository catalogue...

Tuxillo sent a message on the 24th that 5.10 has been removed, but I'm running 
v5.9.0.1502, compiled on the 15th.
