dscheck(vn0): b_bcount 2 is not on a sector boundary

With kde or xfce4 you have no trouble?
There are a couple more desktop options at least. While the topic of
"magic" is not one that Iam familiar with, as far as partitioning goes you
have a couple options.
On the other hand, a complaint during boot is not unusual. You can look
through dmesg a find maybe a few more.
It is interesting.
