LD R710 Notebook an annoying Problems..

Hi,

I've installed dragonfly BSD on this laptop a while ago,
now it is running master from a week or two ago.

Next Time I'll need this thing for some serius work, so I'm trying to
sort out some of the problmes it has.

First thing are repeating kernel messages related to the internal
DVD-RAM Drive:

..that is an normal audio CD (Paul van Dyk) ..

How can I get rid of this?

Next problem would be the relative long delay between an startx and the
appearing of a screen with at least the mouse cursor.
As far as I know the Lapop is equipped with an intel and a ATI radeon
graphics chip...
