domain name / host name

Hello,

okay, so the hostname and domain can be used on the local network or over the internet if set up in the hosts file.

However, the periodic scripts you where writing about are something custom, not enabled by default, correct?
Or is it something Dragonfly BSD ships? If so, I guess there must be some place to configure to which adress and server the messages are sent, right?
