DPorts: GLib bug crashes applications linked with it

From what I can remember, the main reason that led to the adoption of
Heimdal was its license. The MIT Kerberos imposed some rescritions for
imports (encryption).

Also, it was said that the MIT version wasn't really maintained anymore,
while Heimdal was kept up to date and was better supported, as much for
itself than for related tools.

But I do not know if this is still true today, as the latest Heimdal was
released in january 2012 whereas latest MIT Kerberos was released the 15
january of this year.

Personally, I've been using Heimdal for some time and I'm very satisfied
with it. It's well made and it does the job.

The MIT version have for itself that it is the original beast, so if no
licence restrictions applies anymore and if it's better supported at
present day then it was back in 2010, then I would say it's probably the
best choice.

Other Kerberos exists as well, like GNU Shishi, but I don't know them as
well. Many Kerberos versions have been let down over time, like Cygnus
Kerbnet and eBones, so I'm not sure about the futur of Heimdal itself.
MIT Kerberos seems to have a better durability then others.
