I can't believe I forgot these next two items, I've had them in my mind
for ages.

if iwn driver is #8 then:

9) New USB stack really needs to be completed and made default during
3.7.  The lack of this new USB has now become a major blocking point in
dports.  The previous USB implementation has already been removed from
dports and I've been having to maintain patchs on dozens of ports and
it's not sustainable.  If Markus can't finish this off for whatever
reason (likely time) then somebody else should come in and assist.  We
really need this now.

10) OSS (audio):  Our OSS implementation is signficantly behind FreeBSD
and some packages (e.g. VLC) can't be built with OSS.

11) ALSA (audio):  Likewise, we need to bring ALSA support in.   All the
mozilla packages want to use ALSA over pulseaudio.

I have no idea the effort or knowledge level required of any of these tasks.
