Why VMware Virtual disk so slow (da0: 3.300MB/s transfers) ?

This is interesting in FreeBSD dmesg:

da0: 320.000MB/s transfers (160.000MHz, offset 127, 16bit)
da0: Command Queueing enabled

Maybe command queue caused performance regress ?
