How to compile Mixmaster?

I'd like to get Mixmaster running on DFly. I downloaded it from 
mixmaster.sourceforge.net and tried to compile it. First it found the openssl 
(libssl) in /usr/lib, not the one in /usr/pkg/lib, and complained about the 
version number. Then it did this:
