How do you verify that? To Windows, it would look like an unformatted  
stick (since UFS is unknown to Windows), but in Windows' disk management  
you should see the partition.

P.S.: Personally, I'd try with Cygwin's dd(1), but I put Cygwin on all my  
Windows boxes anyway.
