hammer streaming question

Started playing around with hammer fs on a couple of 2.4.1 installs and I'm quite impressed.  I am particularly interested in the streaming capabilities, and I've setup streaming between the two.  Initial tests seemed good, a file was replicated across the file systems, but when I delete the file from the master it's still present in the slave.  What am I missing?
