As other people have said, the HEAD code is bleeding edge, and it's going
through a lot of changes right now. You could use the images marked
Preview, as that's code that is newer than the latest 1.8.1 release, but
only periodically updated to match known (relatively) stable points in the
bleeding edge development.
Or you could use 1.8.1 with the WANT_GCC4 tip and rebuild others have posted.
