Hi and thanks for response.

It has to work on both 1.9 and 1.8. It must run as daemon and not die upon
start up like it does now. net-snmp 5.3 used to work but every time data
was polled it'd leave some warnings in the log which were annoying. I'd
like those gone too. Actually i think at the moment 5.4 it doesnt even
compile in pkgsrc.
