No GUI

Would it really be a problem to have something more on the CD than what we
have now?  It seems to have worked out OK for  most mainstream Linux
distributions, especially Knoppix, and for FreeSBIE, PC-BSD, etc.

The issue that I really want to get at is the post-install configuration;
right now, once someone completes the install, getting to an actual
desktop is relatively mysterious if you're new to BSD, and a number of
extra repetitive steps if you aren't new to BSD.

Not all installations go to a desktop environment, of course, but this
applies to any extra software installation.
