FreeBSD 6.1 install wiped my DragonFly partitions!

I would think the partitions are fine; it's the bootblocks that are messed
up.  boot0cfg from a LiveCD could fix it if you were using booteasy.  I
haven't used GRUB enough to know how to reset it that way.
