High interrupt CPU usage in top

I don't know if it is anything to be concerned about, but I seem to be
seeing high interrupt CPU usage in top (at least) when compiling things...

Pretty minimum system, fresh install, 1.4.4, GENERIC kernel, was
cvsup'ing the DF source tree and compiling `apcupsd`. Pretty much the
only thing running other than that is sshd, cron, and syslogd!

I don't recall ever seeing the interrupt usage that high in 4.11, so I
thought I might ask if it's normal (perhaps it was just broken in 4.11,
or maybe it's just broken in DF and it's nothing to worry about)
