Cannot fetch distfiles on a 1.7-preview system

:I have upgraded my box from 1.5-preview to 1.7-preview, and pkgsrc tools 
:stopped fetching distfiles.
:The error is shown by a vim example:

    It's fixed in HEAD.  I will slip the preview tag right now so preview
    gets the fix.
