Don't use those (especially not -march). Stick with the defaults, they  
fine. Compiler optimization is overrated anyways. You only get speed
increases in some edge cases that almost never happen.
Just for grins, I wanted to try the Tiny C Compiler
on DBSD, since heroic gcc optimizations aren't always helpful.
Theoretically, it supports FreeBSD, but it didn't compile cleanly
out-of-the-box, and I didn't put any more effort into getting it to work.
