MAINTAINANCE THIS WEEKEND! (Re: New project machines on order.)

The new project machines came in and I've got them built. So far
everything seems to work. SMP, networking, 3ware card. I even connected
the HDD LED connector to the 3ware controller :-).

So far I'm quite impressed. The AMD X2 3800 (the low-end X2) is like
having two LEAFs in one box. Buildworld -j 8 times are coming in
    under 23 minutes.

I will be performing surgery on my LAN servers this weekend so there
might be some down time for both crater and leaf. To avoid complications
I will probably disconnect from the internet for some of the maintainance.

    LEAF MAINTAINANCE THIS WEEKEND:

	* /unused3 will be going away (Jeremy's jails will be moved to the
new package building machine. All other data on /unused3 will
	  be destroyed).

	* /home and /unused1 will be repartitioned into a smaller /home
with quots (which will be backed up), and a larger /bulk
without quotas (which will not be backed up). I will create a bulk
softlink in each person's home directory to a private directory
	  in /bulk.

    OTHER MAINTAINANCE THIS WEEKEND:

	* Master servers for the LAN (apollo and earth) are being ripped out
	  and replaced.

	* The master backup box will be rebuilt, so daily backups may not
occur for the next two days.

	* The new package-building box will be added.
