The current version of bsd installer only suitable for a bsd live CD. I 
would like to make it directly install a bsd system.
You must have gotten a pirate copy then.

Download the one DragonFlyBSD furnishes online,
and you will find it installs just fine.
- Unless, of course, your hardware is CF'ed.
