My current primary laptop is a Dell inspiron 8500. Its a little over
a year old now but still its a 2Ghz p4 processor. As for the video
its just an Radeon Mobility 9000, which is more than enough to run
Xwindows, fvwm and firefox. This is the first dell laptop I've had
but I didn't have any trouble loading DragonFly onto it. At the
office we have several slightly older HP laptops such as the HP
pavilion n5425 and they all run DragonFly fine too.
