Which network card are you using ?

em0: <Intel(R) PRO/1000 Network Connection, Version - 1.7.25> port 
0x9000-0x901f mem 0
xe4000000-0xe401ffff,0xe4020000-0xe403ffff irq 12 at device 1.0 on pci1

It is a TYAN server mainboard, cannot tell the exact name of the lan 
chip right now, since i am @home. You can see dmesg and pciconf -v in 
the "ICP Vortex GDT8524RZ+BBU" thread.

I recall having read about problems with the em driver but it is strange 
that it does work with udp, but not with tcp.
