If XP is installed on the same disk you can use the boot0cfg utility (might
be useful even if it's on some other disk). I recomend that you take a look
at the man-page, but something like this might be what you want:
boot0cfg -B -f /tmp/backup.mbr -o packet ad0
This should give you a menu at boot-time where you can select the OS to
boot, the loader is not to smart and will list all partitions on the drive,
even those without an OS (this can be fixed with the -m option). Since I've
only got one disk I don't know how more will be handeled.
