While Steven David Rhodus' suggestion to write
or port worthwhile code is good, that does not
negate the need to eventually deal with cleanouts.
End-of-lifing that which is subpar and of little but
sentimental value.
(I used to type in games like
these on the CBM "PET" 8032)
If those games really are worthwhile they are
probably available in javascript or flash on the
web or in your cellphone, which to most people
have much greater entertainment value than
some vesa mode or xterm ascii graphics.
