Hi,

When I build the kernel with

  options acpica5

(or options acpica).

it hangs after:

  ...
  acpi_cmbat0 <Control method Battery> on acpi0
  unknown: not probed (disabled)
  unknown: not probed (disabled)
Any hints? ACPI works find on FreeBSD 5.x.
