A network file transfer speed test:

700 MB divx file was copied:  
  FROM                    TO                MAX XFER RATE
  FBSD4.10(apache srv) -> Windows XP Pro    2683kB/sec
  FBSD4.10(apache srv) -> DragonFlyBSD1.1   5600kB/sec

These tests were perfomed over a 100Mbit ethernet network and using firefox
to grab the files off the http server.
