:since the system will build the overide automagically why would you need 
:to? the dragonfly ports should be for the most part hidden from the 
:user, except for the overide message when the port is built.

    Hmm.  True, but on the otherhand it is useful to know that a port
    *has* an override and adding the directory would cause whereis to
    return both.  I think this is useful so, yes, go ahead and add
    the directory.
