Summer of Code ideas

The ideas page for Google Summer of Code on DragonFly could use some ideas:

There's plenty on there from previous years, but there's no such thing as
too many ideas.

Please add things you'd like to see, things that could work as projects,
things you could do yourself (if you're an interested student) and things
you would enjoy helping with (if you're an interested mentor).
