That would be a great project! It sounds like you've got some
experience dealing with this, which is good because it will be
difficult. I don't know of a specific mentor to work with on this
project, but we also don't have a finished mentor list. It may be
worth visiting #dragonflybsd on EFNet IRC to see if there's anyone
present to discuss it.
My advice to you would be to work on a proposal for submission after
the 26th. Be as explicit as possible; you can't overplan for Summer
of Code, especially for a more complex project. Remember that the
proposal is both a plan to make it easier for you to finish, and a
demonstration to whomever mentors you that you've thought this
through.
