I will keep digging and see if I can atlease see where the ata drive
is getting these errors. And if I am real lucky find a way to make
my card play nicer with DragonFly. Well until I corrupt my drive ;-)
I was going to go out and get a new card, but maybe this will keep
me on track to see if I can make it a bit better.
Before trashing your drive or buying a new card, try
natacontrol mode ad6 PIO4
before running rsync or cpdup. This slows the thing, but you may be able
to avoid the DMA errors.
Cheers.
It still crashed, but I'm not sure it is taking the command.
# natacontrol mode ad6 PIO4
current mode = SATA150
Is that correct for it to still report SATA150?
Thanks,
