For whatever it's worth, I think it would be quite a mistake dropping our
ratectl. We'd be losing quite some functionality by adopting FreeBSD's way
here, which just has ratectl for ath as Joe pointed out.

If Joe would be willing to switch the newly ported drivers to ratectl, that
would great. I don't think Sephe has much time lately, but maybe someone can
drop him an email.
