GSOC Students - Early submission of preliminary applications requested

Students can modify applications all the way up to the final day, which is
April 3rd, so submitting early does no harm.

(My apologies for not keeping up with this announcement - apparently
Google's forwarding feature is only sending me some of the Summer of Code
announcement mails.  Yay.)
