Yes, I think so! Alternatively wait one or two days, as I commited a fix
[1] to HEAD that allows to revert to the old USB behaviour by setting
the boot loader tunable:
  set hw.usb.hack_defer_exploration=0

You need to wait one or two days for a new ISO image that contains this
fix. And maybe, your problem isn't related to my commit at all.
