Hi!
Well this option did not work as well. Anyway i managed to get an
instance of DragonFly BSD on this machine.
Here I will describe very shortly how:
First, I created a virtual harddrive file for qemu. Then I installed
DFly on qemu, adjusted some settings (for boot device), compressed the
file and sent it to a ftp server, and finally extracted the contents of
the file on the real hard disk using a rescue system on the server (a
live-linux). Something like cat dfly.img > /dev/sda. It actually worked
and I am one more happy DFly user ;-)
