Differences between libc_r and libthread_xu

Hey,

I just noticed that libthread_xu implements a couple of functions which
libc_r doesn't provide. Somebody should pull up these functions and make
the libs en par, otherwise these functions cannot be used from
libthread_xu either.

As you can see, libc_r is missing a couple of functions. It would be very
nice if somebody could have a look on how to implement those and/or create
null-shims.

cheers
