I've fixed that, maybe I forgot?
I tried to do get gcc to emit the rpath, but that doesn't work very
nicely with the way libtool builds the command line. I think I never
ended up cleaning the patches for this far enough that they are
comittable for the repo.
So libtool doesn't use gcc for linking but ld directly? That's evil.
