2.0 installer integration

First off, I really would like to contribute to DragonFly, since it's a
superb project with a great team and I actively use it on many machines
and it can do what FreeBSD and OpenBSD failed at.
This is going to be my last attempt on this, since the
bsdinstaller list and IRC are "dead".
I am trying to integrate the latest BSDinstaller into DragonFly. I
understood the hierarchy of Lua scripts (I know Lua) and their
functions (although I am not a big fan of Lua 5.0 with compat-51), and
a friend of mine has replaced the ports-related stuff to pkgsrc-related
things. Let's then see what we can do now:
* I can rewrite the Lua scripts to make them Dragonfly-specific.
* Replacing ports-related stuff with pkgsrc is almost done.
What we cannot do:
* Make the CGI interface work.
* Make the installer reachable via SSH.
More over, we need assistance. Everything we do needs to be tested, but
we have no clue about integrating the whole thing into the nrelease
framework. Is there any other way to test the installer, or is there
anyone willing to assist us?
Thanks in advance for the answers!
