By the way ... How portable is the current cpdup code?
The FreeBSD port of cpdup is pretty old, and I would like
to update it. It would be very nice to have the newest
features and bugfixes in both sides, FreeBSD and DragonFly
(the "directory mtime" bug is particularly annoying in the
old FreeBSD ports version).

Now I have two questions. Does it really make sense to try
to update the FreeBSD port, or has the current code become
very DF-specific? And second, is there a distfile of the
current cpdup version available somewhere via FTP or HTTP
URL?

I'm sorry, I just realize this is probably off-topic here.

Best regards
   Oliver
