The big difference I see between your build and mine is that last line above.
Here is mine:
-DPREFIX=\"/usr/obj/usr/src/ctools_i386_i386/usr\"
-DPREFIX1=\"/usr/obj/usr/src/ctools_i386_i386/usr\"
-DPREFIX2=\"/usr/obj/usr/src/world_i386/usr\"
That seems a pretty big difference and I have no idea where the difference
comes from. Maybe the last time you updated your machine you got hit with
a bug in one of the basic unix tools like sed, grep, ln, etc?
Can you get through a build of just /usr/src/bin, for example, to try to
rule that idea out?
