Getting more and more tired of FreeBSD's crashes, just curious if anyone is
currently playing around with the unionfs code in DFly?
Thanks ..

Shortcomings. ACK. 'Direction', certainly.
But 'crashes'?
Not generally a problem with 4.X

What exactly are you doing with yours? :) When is the last time you tried
to create a FIFO on a UNION mounted file system? How about the vnode
leak that nobody seems to want to acknowledge exists, but which forces me
to reboot one of my servers every few weeks:
May 14 18:35:02 venus root: debug.numvnodes: 472900 - debug.freevnodes: 52453 - debug.vnlru_nowhere: 10 - vlruwt
I'd move to 5.x, but apparently the 'shortcomings' become 'major mine
field' :(
