Most of this software already exists in ports/pkgsrc/etc. Syslog, init, etc
are known entities with well documented behavior. The license used is
compatible with the base distribution. If you need better, its easy to add,
and it can be predicted reliably when you will need to make that upgrade.
That said, this software looks great for some people, others prefer a
different operating schema. What justifies replacing knowns with unknowns
in base in this case?
