Except for the __asm nonsense, which would have to be done some other way,
it would not actually be all that hard to revector DICE. We wouldn't have
to rewrite the assembler or linker, we'd just have to generate IA32/64
assembly and use binutils for assembly and linking.
If there were more of me... maybe I'll play with it some weekend to see how
feasible it is.
