:Two questions:

:(1) Are the occasional "__FreeBSD__ redefined" messages harmless (or do
:    they indicate PATH confusion)?

    Just ignore them.

:(2) How does one do an installworld into somewhere other than / ? I want to
:    install into /dfly.

    (already answered by Tomaz but for completness):

    make installworld DESTDIR=/blah/blah/blah

    should work.
