Look at the port at:
http://ftp.fortunaty.net/DragonFly/inofficial/dfports/X.org-7.0.tar.bz2

You'll notice a DragonFly.cf for imake and other stuff.
These will fix your problems. I suggest you at least take
a look, it will spare you some time.
