I guess I should just toss that two and a half year old ThinkPad 240X in the
bin then?  Such a shame, it's rather cute and otherwise well supported by
BSD.

Ditto for my slightly older (headless) server with a SCSI CD-ROM the BIOS
can't boot from.  Even if it could, how do I do this to a bootable CD-ROM:

    # mount /floppy
    # echo -P >/floppy/boot.config

Oh, I could have a CD-ROM burner "handy" wherever I happen to be (must be even
easier than attaching a monitor, right?), and mess about creating a modified
ISO image...

Just put me in that sad minority who can't use an OS without a boot floppy,
alongside that other sad minority who refuse to run Windoze...
