install DFBSD in a jail?

I'm only now getting my feet wet in exploring an installation of
DragonFly BSD.  Quickie questions, which I didn't see in the mailing
list archives:

- Is FBSD 4.8 a neccessary starting point, or could 4.9 be utilized?

- Can anyone forcast issues with exploring a DragonFly BSD build
  in a FreeBSD jail?
