CVSync has already been tested enough times by myself and
Hiroki-san that we think it is quite up to par with CVSup.
AllBSD.org has offered this service for over a year, if not
longer. It is written in C.
I don't believe I had heard of CVSync before. And believe it
or not, from your earlier message I was wondering if it was
for CVS or Subversion...
You might wonder how I could POSSIBLY think something called
CVSync would have been for subversion. I can only say that
it must have been the severe head-cold that I was fighting
this past weekend -- or perhaps the generous doses of Nyquil
that I was using to fight it...
CVSync is both a client and a daemon (cvsyncd). And BSDL'd.
Is it a drop-in replacement for CVSup? Or is it an alternate
service? (Ie, do people need a CVSync server to use the CVSync
client, or can they use a CVSup server with the client?)
