Yes. Do you have the necessary hardware to test changes to the driver?
This is very old and crufty code, most likely the hardware is at least
as old. It's not newbus and IIRC all the GPLed code does generate a lot
of warnings.
I may or may not have such an access. The hardware is actually present 
here, but is currently busy with other tasks... Will there be at least a 
possibility of resurrecting the code in question?
